Posted by admin on Apr 22, 2010 in new technology |

The all-new Volvo S60 has its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show on March 2. The dynamic new chassis is backed up by a range of electronic systems that sharpen the sporty driving experience, including the Corner Traction Control and the Advanced Stability Control. Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake can avoid a collision with a pedestrian at speeds of up to 35 km/h if the driver does not react in time. During its first year of production, the all-new Volvo S60 will be available with a variety of diesel and petrol engines spanning the range from an economical 115 horsepower DRIVe version to an eager high-performance turbocharged version producing 304 horsepower.

    @cyborggermaine …
    @cyborggermaine considering all the risk..im not against the new tech driving inno put into this car but i want to be fully sure how it works…i suggest that Volvo should give the driver the choice to use it or not when driving the car because there are some situation that u need to use your common sense especially when at high speed

    when your going too …
    when your going too fast and when suddenly technical problems will occur to the sensor of the new tech the’ve put in, and it suddenly breaks, i mean it’s your life at stake when you handle such vehicles equipped with these kinds of technologies….your putting you own life at risk using these kinds of technologies,, these are not ordinary situations because you never know when it might go wrong with this kinds of technologies

    how about when your …
    how about when your going at the speed of 90 km/hr or over and when a dog or a cat suddenly crosses ,it could likely endanger your life when it automatically breaks. it can save the cat’s life or dog maybe but at that speed when it suddenly breaks, the car has the possibility to tumble, skid or roll, putting your life at risk in exchange for the life of a dog or a cat, after the failure of toyota..i mean we can’t really fully rely on this kinds of technology… you know
