do they buy you a new bike if your bike does not fit their unit and it munches it in the machinery?! I assume that this unit will not accommodate a recumbent style bike. They should have a circle slash sign over a recumbent bike silhouette.

The automatic bicycle parking facility featured in this video is not located in Kasai, Edogawa-ku. I know…I live there and I park my bicycle there! Check out the video response for the Kasai facility. This said, I’d be curious to know about this particular facility. In Kasai you have to go underground to pick up your bicycle, since the bus terminal is located over it-there are at times traffic jams on the ramps when going out. In this case you don’t need to go underground, its outside.
