How many scammers are out there on dating services?

Posted by admin on Oct 22, 2009 in new technology |

I can’t tell you how tired I am getting email addresses claiming that their profile is "expiring soon". Then the next thing I know, I got the email with photo attached. How many scammers are out there in the dating services? What percentage? How do I know if I am talking with a girl scammer? Give me hints that I am REALLY talking with a real girl. Any advice that can help me identify scammers???

I don’t know how many, but a lot.

Many of the profiles posted in US cities when you follow up say they are in some other country and eventually they will ask you for money.

I don’t think that dating sites or dating sites or personals work. They go against human nature. A woman is designed to respond to a man approaching her, in real life, face to face, to hear his voice and look him in the eye.

Getting a woman to stick her neck out and meet you based on a web profile or a newspaper ad is just against her nature. I think you need to go out and approach woman in real life.

A woman who might never go out with you based on a personals ad, might be charmed by your personality in real life.

The internet is so full of scammers I’m kind of a techie I’m always careful with emails I never open scams but I fell for a scam last month n I had to file a police report so my advice is keep all your business of the internet whether it’s dating or shopping or anything else

Make sure you’re on a website with a good reputation. They tend to have the ability to reduce these scammers. I’ve had good experience with Yahoo! Personals. Don’t give out your personal email to anyone except for the dating site (and only if it has a privacy policy), because you’ll end up getting scams out the wazzoo. Unfortunately, there are "fake girls" on any website, and you’ll never know if you don’t take the chance to get to know them. Make sure they have a profile pic, though, because that will help a little bit.
